Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr appoint Ange Postecoglou as new manager

  • Ange Postecoglou has been appointed as the new manager of Saudi champions Al-Nassr, signing a two-year contract to lead the club.
  • He will manage a squad that includes prominent players such as Cristiano Ronaldo , Sadio Mane, Joao Felix, and Kingsley Coman.
  • Postecoglou takes over from Jorge Jesus, who left the club immediately after guiding Al-Nassr to the league title.
  • His first game in charge of Al-Nassr is scheduled for 16 August, when the team will face Diriyah in the King of Cup Champions Clash.
  • The Australian manager's recent career includes a brief spell at Nottingham Forest, winning the Europa League with Tottenham in 2025 despite a 17th-place Premier League finish, and achieving significant success with Celtic, including a league and cup double followed by a treble.
