Cristiano Ronaldo has shared a new social media post as his Manchester United teammates prepare to face Chelsea without him this weekend.
Ronaldo will not feature in Saturday's seismic showdown at Stamford Bridge after he stormed down the tunnel during the closing stages of Wednesday night's impressive 2-0 win over Tottenham.
In a statement released on Thursday, United confirmed that Ronaldo would not participate in this weekend's match after a result of his antics against Spurs. Ronaldo responded shortly after with a statement of his own where he admitted that the "heat of the moment" had got the better of him, but he stopped short of issuing an apology.
