Cris Cyborg is eyeing a fight with Katie Taylor after receiving her first boxing contract.
The MMA superstar has long been linked with a switch to boxing and now looks set to swap the cage for the boxing ring.
“My team already received the contract, we’ve been back and forth working on the contract, I believe soon, we’ll finish and I’ll sign,” Cyborg said of her move to boxing to The Catch-Up.

"Then you guys are gonna know who and where is gonna be my next fight. I’m very excited to do my first fight in boxing. Very, very excited. It’s one of my dreams.”
The Brazilian later tweeted: "Tell the Irish the Brazilians are coming."
Taylor is expected to fight again before the end of the year, with a date in October likely to be announced soon according to her promoter Eddie Hearn.
Cyborg and Holly Holm, who became a UFC champion after switching to MMA from boxing, emerged as the early frontrunners to face the Bray Bomber after Amanda Serrano revealed she was not interested in a rematch this year.
But Hearn has since named fellow world champions Hyun Mi Choi, Chantelle Cameron and Jessica McCaskill as other possible opponents for Taylor.
