It’s a new era for Mulberry — and a welcome return for a fashion industry favourite. Christopher Kane has been appointed creative director of the leather goods company, where he will lead a women’s ready-to-wear comeback.
A Central Saint Martins graduate and London Fashion Week stalwart, Kane is one of the biggest and brightest names of his generation. The Scottish designer founded his much-loved eponymous label in 2006, but announced its closure in 2023, citing financial difficulties.
