A man in his 20s has been rushed to hospital following a collision between an e-scooter and a car this morning in Finglas.
Emergency services raced to the scene at Abbotstown Road in Finglas shortly before 1am, which involved a collision between a car and an e-scooter. A man in his 20s, who was travelling on the e-scooter, was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown to be treated for serious injuries.
A technical examination of the scene is due to take place this morning. Gardai say that investigations into the incident are ongoing.

A garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Gardaí and emergency services responded to a road traffic collision on the Abbotstown Road in Finglas in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday, 25th October 2022.
"The collision, involving a car and an E-Scooter occurred shortly before 1am. The man who was travelling on the E-Scooter, aged in his 20s, was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown where he is receiving treatment for serious injuries.
"A technical examination of the scene is due to take place this morning. Investigations ongoing," he added.
