Craig Gordon has no interest in taking time off as Robbie Neilson insists the Hearts goalkeeper wants to prolong his international career.
The veteran Tynecastle captain returned to training ahead of schedule in preparation for their game v Rangers in the Premiership this weekend, having played three games for Scotland in the last week on top of welcoming his son to the world. Neilson says the stopper's dedication to the cause is unrivalled and on top of his Hearts commitment, there's Scotland ones too.
He insists that Gordon is already thinking about the nation's next matches, despite being in the twilight of his career: "The mark of him is that he had the Scotland game the other night and his partner has just had a kid. We said to him to take a couple of days off. But he turned up today at half nine to get ready for training.
