Covid changed what Nottingham homeowners want, say estate agents

Nottingham is experiencing a bit of a property boom in recent years as homeowners look to make changes to their life post-pandemic. While the city is still a popular location, many are looking to quieter areas or suburbs to get access to bigger spaces and find bargains.

Covid has shaped the way that people shop for properties as estate agents highlight that new homeowners and those looking to upgrade are interested in more space than they were previously and also, many are now working from home. This has made a spare bedroom which can become an office, an essential part of the purchase.

Surprisingly, given the cost of living, affluent areas of Nottingham are still high on the list of dream locations for buyers. This includes the Park area, West Bridgford and Sherwood as the top three areas of interest. However, agents do stress that buyers can get more for their money the further out they venture, such as Mansfield.
