New Delhi: India has recorded 3,712, new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally of cases to 4,31,64,544 in the country, as per the Health Ministry data on Thursday.
As many as 5 fresh fatalities were also recorded in the last 24 hours, taking the total death count in the country, as a result of coronavirus, to 52,4641.

The active cases stand at 19,509 which now comprise 0.03 percent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate stands at 98.74 percent.
Meanwhile, 2,584 recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours, increasing the total recoveries to 4,26,20,394On the vaccination front, the government has been continuously speeding up the vaccination drive across the country.
According to the bulletin issued by the Ministry on Thursday, 85.13 Crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far. (UNI)
