Jen and Bob De Haan are no strangers to floodwaters after their northern Queensland home was inundated in 2019.
But six years later the pair are again mopping up mud and preparing to buy new furniture after the creek at the end of their yard in Bluewater, a Townsville suburb, swelled beyond hip height.
