A man from Toxteth was charged in relation to suspected County Lines operations during a Easter bank holiday drugs bust.
Arron Quarty was charged after police found drugs, cash, jewellery and mobile phones during raids on Friday, April 15. Quarty was arrested after three police raids were carried out in Toxteth, Kensington and the Cheetham Hill area of Manchester.
Quarty and a woman were arrested following the raid at the Manchester address where officers found bags including mobile phones, chargers and cannabis. Quarty, 33, of Selborne Close in Toxteth, and a 29-year-old woman also from Toxteth, were both arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine, possession with intent to supply cannabis, and possession of criminal property.

A referral was also made to the RSPCA after four pitbulls were found at the raided house.
The multi-house raids were carried out as part of Project Medusa, Merseyside Police's initiative to infiltrate County Lines drug dealing and tackle child criminal exploitation. Quarty was later remanded into custody and appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Saturday 16 April, and the 29-year-old woman was released under investigation as enquiries continue.
