A targeted police raid on a country lines drug gang saw officers seize cocaine, crack cocaine and cannabis with a street value of £64,000. Officers acting on intelligence raided a number of addresses in Birmingham and Bromsgrove on Tuesday, July 12, in connection with drug trafficking in the North East of Scotland.
Two men, aged 33 and 34, and a 27-year-old woman have been arrested and charged following the joint operation between Police Scotland, West Midlands Police and West Mercia Police. Dramatic pictures showed officers using a battering ram to smash down a door at one property.
In another image a door could be seen destroyed as cops raided the property. Cocaine, crack cocaine and cannabis - with a combined estimated street value of around £64,000 - was seized by officers.
The three people charged are due to appear before Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday, July 14.
