The Globe gin comes in a 70cl bottle, decorated with a Christmas town centre scene. With the push of a button on the bottom of the bottle, the whole thing illuminates.
Give the globe a gentle shake and watch the twinkling, edible 23-carat gold leaf cascade around the Christmas scene inside. For the cherry on top, the gin comes in a beautiful gift box meaning it's ready to gift almost straight away.
As for the taste, the gin is a liqueur at 20% alcohol with zesty spiced orange and tangy fresh cranberry flavours. Paired with an original or Mediterranean tonic or even a ginger ale, you can finish this gin off with an orange wheel and fully embrace the flavour, for a festive cocktail, why not try it with some prosecco?
And if the description doesn't sell it, there are hundreds of reviews from happy Costco shoppers to tide you over. One said: "Absolutely loved this gin and made a great gift for Christmas."
Another customer said: "Great value for money, very pretty and tastes amazing, I went back and brought 4 more!"
One happy shopper remarked: "I've bought many of these for gifts at Christmas (plus one for me). They're absolutely beautiful and the fact that they light up is an added WOW!"
The same reviewer added: "It's brilliant that they come with suggestions of serving them, I can't wait. Thank you Costco - you've solved my present list."
A fourth said: "This gin is great as a long drink with ginger ale but is also fabulous on its own poured over ice, which is how I preferred it. Loved the gold leaf sparkling in the glass as I drank it, so if you love gin and ginger go for this."
Many customers did remark how they found the gin even cheaper in the warehouse, though only people who meet certain criteria can register to become warehouse members. To see if you qualify, check the Costco membership website here.
