Ryan goes missing
Ryan Connor will go missing on Coronation Street next week as he struggles with some upsetting news.
The bartender and waiter was hit by corrosive liquid when evil stalker Justin tried to target Daisy in a shocking moment on her wedding day. Ryan - played by actor Ryan Prescott - ended up with body and facial burns from the harrowing attack and has been struggling in hospital as he slowly starts to find out the full extent of his injuries.
Next week on the ITV soap, Ryan explains to Alya he is feeling even more terrified after learning Justin has pleaded not guilty. He is worried he'll have to relive it all in court in the hope of helping police get Justin convicted.
Alya promises she'll be there alongside him the whole way, leading to Ryan to make a big love confession, but how will she react to his declaration of love? Elsewhere, Daisy brings Crystal to see Ryan in hospital as they discuss the future for his gigs in Ibiza.
Ryan admits to Daisy that the talk has really helped him focus on and he's finally ready to see his face and his injuries. Seeing his face for the first time, he's horrified to learn from the surgeon that it isn't healing and he will need a skin graft.
Later, Daisy and Carla head into Ryan's room and soon discover he's missing and his backpack is gone.
Faye betrays Craig
Faye Windass will betray her partner Craig Tinker in shocking scenes on Coronation Street next week.
It is expected that Faye - played by Ellie Leach - will depart the cobbles this summer in shocking scenes, and it looks like her exit storyline is being lined up as next week on the ITV soap, Faye betrays her current partner for her ex.
Jackson and Miley are enjoying their time back in town and head to the factory to see Faye. She is left thrilled and very touched by her boyfriend's gesture as Craig gifts them three tickets for the Weatherfield Giants basketball game
As they head for an outing with just the three of them, Faye and Jackson share a lingering look. Faye agrees to meet up with Jackson for a drink in town after his interview, but lies to Craig and tells him that she is just meeting up with one of her female friends instead.
As they meet in a hotel bar, she is horrified when Beth arrives with Marco.
Jackson reveals all about his job interview, and how he's managed to secure it - only to reveal it's down south as he asks her to move with him. Things get even worse when Beth brings her to Victoria Street gardens, where a small crowd has gathered.
Miley and Jackson are both there too and Faye can't hide her shock when Craig gets down on one knee and asks Faye to marry him. After Jackson's offer, what will she decide - and who will she be with?
