Coronation Street airs tense scenes next week, as Daisy Midgeley and Ryan Connor face evil Justin in court.
Just months ago, Justin launched a terrifying attack on his stalking victim Daisy on her wedding day to Daniel Osbourne.
After months of harassing her, following her and sending her messages and flowers, Daisy exposed him but got nowhere with the police.
When Justin finally got the message that Daisy did not want him near her, he decided to take revenge and threw acid at her, cruelly saying "no one will want you after this" as he flung the substance towards her face.
But Ryan jumped in front of her not aware of what Justin had done, and he took the brunt of the acid which left him with serious burns.
Ryan has suffered with his physical and mental health in the fallout, while his injuries are still healing.
Justin was arrested for the crime and next week his trial begins with Daisy and Ryan facing their attacker.
Next week, Ryan is reluctant to go to court and give evidence, still struggling with past events.
Things get worse when he and his aunt Carla Connor go to The Rovers and find Justin's sister in there, with her claiming to be supporting Daisy and not her evil brother.
Ryan is furious given what happened to him and Daisy in that very pub, so to see Daisy bonding with Karen doesn't sit right with him.
Instead he lashes out and reminds Daisy of the time she deliberately split up him and girlfriend Alya Nazir - unaware that vile Karen will go on to use this against them.
With Ryan deciding to face Justin, he soon changes his mind when Karen boasts that she used the information he shared and passed it on to Justin's legal team.
When he is a no-show, Daisy calls at the flat where Ryan reveals that Karen was spying on them and is helping Justin, leaving her mortified.
Daisy begs Ryan to reconsider as without his evidence Justin may go free, but will he be swayed?
Daisy’s stressed at the thought of facing Justin in court without Ryan to back her up, so Daniel pays him a visit and pleads with him to help.
Ryan refuses though, and as the usher summons Daisy into court she crumbles and tells Daniel she can’t face it.
Instead, Daniel takes the witness box and tells the court how Justin relentlessly stalked Daisy in the run up to the acid attack.
Daisy considers doing a runner in fear but Carla spots her and urges her to face Justin, not wanting him to control her anymore.
As Daisy enters the witness box, will she have the strength to say what she needs to and get justice?
Eventually, Ryan arrives and also enters the box and he explains how Justin threw the acid intending it for Daisy.
In a sick twist, the defence barrister cross examines Ryan, and claims it’s he who’s in love with Daisy and that they plotted the acid attack themselves.
Ryan and Daisy are horrified and hurt by the suggestion as Justin watches on, before he takes his moment in the witness box - but what will he say happened?
