Corrie fans 'work out Craig could die' in murder twist amid Faye exit plot

Coronation Street fans are convinced Craig Tinker could end up losing his life in a huge murder twist amid Faye Windass' exit.

Soap fans know Faye is heading for an exit from the Cobbles after actress Ellie Leach quit the soap after over a decade, but she is torn between whether she should be with her husband-to-be Craig or get back with her ex Jackson, with whom she shares daughter Miley with. Jackson has recently arrived back on the Cobbles and wants Faye back.

She has been struggling after learning he still wants to be with her, but feels trapped with Craig as he knows the secret about her part in the murder of pensioner Ted, who she and Emma hit in a car accident last year.

As the families got involved in their relationship tonight, Gary confronted Faye about why she felt she couldn't leave Craig. She then explained to him that he knew about Ted's death and she couldn't be sure he wouldn't tell someone.

Beth also got involved too, leading to a huge confrontation between the four of them after Gary learned about Craig 'blackmailing' his fiancée over what happened in the past – with him desperate to confront Craig.

Now some fans are convinced this whole exit from Faye could end up with a huge murder twist – as Gary exacts his revenge.

"Craig you better run, Gary can kill AND clearly get away with it!! #Corrie," one wrote.

A second shared: "Run craig, Gary's in scary mode #Corrie," with a third taking to social media to write: " #Corrie will Gary sort Craig out for blackmailing Faye? Craig won’t jeopardise his future career in CID."

"That’s alright Faye, Gary will just take Craig for a walk in the woods! #corrie," a fourth wrote, as a fifth penned: "Ah is Gary gonna do Craig in as well? #corrie." A sixth concluded: "Ah yes Gary opportunity to do in Craig! #corrie."

Actress Ellie previously teased her final scenes will be very emotional.

Speaking to The Mirror and other press about her final episode, Ellie explained: "It was very, very emotional as obviously Faye is leaving the Street after 12 years, but it's me leaving the Street after 12 years as well. The saddest part is where she's in the taxi and we just see Craig on his own walking down the street and she's like stop the car, she gets out and says, 'I'll always love you, I always have and I always will'. I think it was just so emotional and you do see there's two people here who do love each other, but there are so many other factors, love isn't always enough and I think you can see that in that last scene."
