Corrie and I'm A Celeb's Sue Cleaver shows off incredible weight loss

Coronation Street and I'm A Celebrity star Sue Cleaver has wowed fans with a picture of her incredible weight loss. Sharing a picture on Instagram from the dressing room at This Morning she wrote: "Getting my glam on for @thismorning this morning - trousers by @reiss & jacket by @mintvelvet - styled by @johnlewis_samantha @johnlewis Cheadle".

The actor has lost three stone in the last 11 years. Her recent weight loss was kick started by a stint in the jungle for the ITV show, on a diet of rice and beans. She also raised awareness of diabetes while on the show.

Many impressed followers took to the comments section, reports The Mirror. One said: "'Who is this woman?!!!!! OMG!!! You look amazing xxx".

Another wrote: "Omg share your weight loss journey please" while another joked: "Get me in that jungle if this is how much weight I’ll lose. You look fab. How have you done it ?? You're so slim x'".

Sue's diabetes was first reported in 2011 when she collapsed on the set of Corrie and had to have hospital treatment.

A source told The Sun at the time: "Sue was looking pretty off at around 9am just as we were getting ready for filming. Then all of a sudden she just seemed to collapse and everyone was panicking.

"An ambulance was called and she was taken to hospital."

The star is said to favour the Mediterranean diet, which is high in vegetables, fruits, legumes, nuts, beans, cereals, grains, fish and unsaturated fats such as olive oil and usually includes a low intake of meat and dairy foods.

Discussing her weight loss, a source told Woman magazine: "Sue was always a self-confessed foodie, who admitted that over-indulgence was her Achilles Heel. Now everything's changed.

"Sue's in her mid 50s so it was a no brainer that cutting down on certain things was what she had to do."

They concluded: "She's in this for the long game and wants to live a long, happy and healthy life."
