Former Coronation Street star Kevin Kennedy was left red, or should we say bronze, in the face when he accidentally locked himself into a tanning booth tonight (November 25).
The actor, who played much loved character Curly Watts in the long running soap, posted up a picture of a sign he had the misfortune to miss on Twitter, stating: "I didn’t see this sign I’m currently locked in and they can’t open it".
The tanning shop sign clearly stated: "Please DO NOT use this door, the lock is broken. Use lock on outer door only. Sorry for any inconvenience."
But it was Kevin who was left apologising when he found himself having to call on staff for help.

The social media post attracted a flurry of comments with Twitter users joking about what a great colour he would be. One poster, Michael of Trafford, said sarcastically: "Is the sign not big enough?"
While another, Sam, referred back to a Coronation Street storyline where a character died having locked herself in a freezer, saying: "This is like Anne Malone in the Freshco’s freezer all over again."
Shortly after his initial post, tan booth hostage Kevin updated his post saying: "The nice lady managed to free me - much to the relief of worried fans, who posted up memes and exclaimed: Yippee!"
Also referring to a former Coronation Street plot, one user, Suzie Bennett posted: "Phew! Was gonna start a campaign #freetheweatherfieldone."
