Viewers of long-running soap Coronation Street were left stumped after Tina O’Brien revealed her true age.
The ITV star, who first set foot on set in 1999 as Sarah Platt, revealed the number on her Instagram page.
Tina was just 16 when she took her first stroll along the iconic cobbles - and has played her part in several dramatic storylines since, The Daily Star reported.

Tina, who has several awards and nominations for playing Sarah, has garnered a stalwart legion of fans from her time on evening TV in the UK.
But the mum-of-one left some viewers in shock as she took to her Instagram to look back on her time, as part of an upcoming birthday milestone.
Tina posted a new headshots of herself while revealing that she will be turning 40 this coming August.
With the snap, Tina said on Instagram: “I'm turning 40 this year. Decided it's time to update my seriously outdated headshots for Spotlight.
'A massive thank you to @neilson_photo_actors I'm absolutely over the moon with them.”
A big portion of her loyal following couldn't believe that she is 39, stressing that she still looks so alike to how she did when she first appeared on screens.
One user wrote: 'Tina you don't look 40 at all you look so young,' and another added: 'Omg 40 you look 25 !!! Seriously'.
“Gonna need to check your birth certificate there's absolutely no way your 40,” someone else wrote
Another agreed, saying there was no way she was 40.
A fourth said: "You haven't aged one bit! Was watching Corrie the other night and said to my Mum, 'Sarah doesn't bloody age!'"
Lucy-Jo Hudson, one of her co-stars questioned how she has not aged, saying she still looks 21.
Sophie Webster star Brooke Vincent said: “Still look 21,” while Catherine Tydesley added: “Babe!!! 40?!?! You still look 13!!! gorgeous xxxxx.”
