Coronation Street's Simon Gregson has hit back at viewers who speculated he had a hair transplant after wearing a cap in one episode of the ITV soap.

The Steve McDonald actor shut down the rumours following Monday (April 24) night's visit to the Cobbles.

Viewers of the ITV soap watched on as the dad supported his daughter Amy Barlow after she stood up to her rapist Aaron Sandiford at her first party since she was attacked.
