However, this hasn't stopped viewers from filling in the blanks and predicting their own theories about what happened.
During Tuesday's instalment, Imran was left furious to discover that Abi Franklin was attempting to flee the cobbles with their baby son Alfie using fake passports.
Imran, who recently won custody of Alfie after lying about Abi, then told wife Toyah about what had happened as she went to immediately ring the police, OK reports.
However, feeling guilty after lying about Abi in court, Imran told Toyah to hold off as he then met with Kevin Webster, who admitted he was worried about estranged wife Abi over the prospect she could lose her son Alfie for good.
While Toyah decided to go against Imran's wishes and headed to the police herself to report Abi with her husband catching her just in time as he begged her not to go through with it.
It appeared that Imran was about to confess to Toyah about getting Ben to spy on Abi and lying about her using drugs again in court during the custody battle.
The dramatic episode instead ended with the newlyweds unconscious in a car crash.
Viewers will recall that during Monday's episode, Kevin tampered with their car to stop them driving off with Alfie so Abi could escape with him.
While Tuesday's episode saw an impatient Imran retrieve his car from the closed garage in a bid to stop Toyah from reporting Abi to the police.
Soap watchers have now predicted that Kevin will get sent down for the crash and even speculated that Abi could have tampered with the car further.
One person wrote on Twitter: "#Corrie weird not to show any of the collision or is there a story behind it? Did Abi mess around with the brakes??"
A different account added: "Oh no will Kevin get the blame for the car crashing because he was messing about with it? #Corrie."
Another person wrote: "Wait… I hope Kevin hasn’t forgot to sort out the car #Corrie."
While a different viewer added: "I'm guessing Abi had her turn tinkering with the car."
