Coronation Street viewers have predicted a new romance on the cobbles.
Those watching the show tonight saw a frazzled Kelly desperately trying to balance her school work, job and caring for her mum.
An exhausted Kelly must also hide the fact she's seeing her mum Laura from Gary and Maria.
Sunday's second instalment saw Kelly almost hit by Simon on his bike.
Simon said: "Whoa, what are you playing at? I could've hit you then" before asking Kelly what's up.
Kelly replied: "I got about two hours kip last night, I haven't eaten since this morning, I haven't stopped all day and... I'm on my period. Well you asked."
Simon explained he couldn't do anything about her sleep - or "the other thing" - but that he could get her something to eat, and he took her to the chippy.
Later scenes saw Kelly confide in Simon about the care she is giving Laura.
Simon said: "I had to look after my mum, when Oliver died. It was too much", as he begged Kelly to get some extra help.
A number of viewers spotted a potential new romance within the scenes.
Taking to Twitter, Justin Rafferty said: "Simon and Kelly could be interesting for getting together?"
Ryan Glendenning said: "I think Kelly and Simon could get together"
Leanne Doherty said: "Awww they'd make an adorable couple"
