Coronation Street boss Iain MacLeod has teased the big Christmas storylines taking place this year on the ITV soap.
The producer teased festive fun and heartwarming scenes, but also hinted there could be emotional moments ahead for some.
Speaking to The Mirror and other press and a special Corrie event, which unveiled the show's brand new exterior location, Iain confirmed it was a fun and comedic episode this year for Christmas Day.
He did confess he cried twice as he watched previews for the episode, and the storylines around Christmas.
Iain said he hopes fans love it as much as he believes they will, as he promised heartwarming moments ahead - with Fiz Brown and Tyrone Dobbs set to take centre-stage.
He spilled of the big episodes: "There's loads of comedy, lots of family fun in it and lots of warmth. I sort of cried twice in the viewing of it and I'm not given to tears.
"It's really moving and lovely, but not moving in a sad way but moving in a kind of warms your cockles way. So I really think the fans are gonna love it, and the Fiz and Tyrone strand is probably the centre piece of it. It's really good fun and the right amount of silly."
Iain went on of the scenes: "Alan Halsall and Jennie McAlpine are absolutely marvellous in it, and the kids are great so it just feels totally Christmas and totally Corrie, so it's a warm end of the year for us really.
"It is fun and family orientated. Corrie has always done that. A few years ago we went a little bit Die Hard with Gary Windass and Shona and the funfair story which I absolutely loved, it was very exciting."
Iain said that this year would be different though, and would be the fun and heartwarming Corrie fans knew and loved.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
