A young man has been rushed to hospital after a shooting in Cork city.
It happened in a house in the Churchfield area in the early hours of this morning.
Gardai and emergency services rushed to the scene shortly before 4am after they were alerted to reports of a shooting.

A man aged in his 20s was found at the scene with apparent gunshot wounds.
He was taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Gardai have sealed off the scene for a technical and forensic examination.
No arrests have yet been made and gardai are appealing for anyone with information.
A spokesperson said: “Gardai at Gurranbraher are appealing for information following a shooting incident at a house in the Churchfield area of Cork on Saturday May 14, 2022.
“Gardai are appealing for anyone with information or anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward. They are particularly keen for anyone with camera footage (including dash-cam) to make this available to investigating gardai.
