Conor McGregor has taken to Instagram to reveal that he was hit by a car while on his bicycle this afternoon.
In an emotional post, the MMA star thanked God for emerging unscathed from the incident, and said that 'it wasn't my time.'
The former UFC World Champion also thanked his judo and wrestling training, and said that 'Having an awareness on the landing saved my life.'
McGregor's post reads: "Got a bang of a car just now from behind. A sun trap, the driver couldn’t see me.
"Thank you God, it wasn’t my time.
"Thank you wrestling and judo also. Having an awareness on the landing saved my life."
