Conor McGregor shows off new custom €3million Lamborghini yacht

Conor McGregor has collected his €3million custom Lamborghini yacht from Monaco with his family.

The Irish star has continued to live a lavish lifestyle since his defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, but has now made a return to training in a bid to make a UFC comeback at 170lb.

He had already completed the purchase of his new toy, despite being unable to collect it after travelling to Rome in October last year.

Now McGregor has finally collected his super-yacht in Monaco after around seven-months of waiting for the vessel to be ready.

He posted on Instagram: "Today is the day!! We officially take ownership of our brand new Lamborghini Sport Yacht! But first.. the most important meal of the day."

McGregor later posted an image of himself driving the yacht alongside a video, captioned: "Trying to find the words. The supercar of the sea!"

The luxury yacht is known as "he supercar of the sea" and is 63 feet long while capable of producing 2000hp.

With a green hull, the luxury sea-liner will also pay homage to his whiskey brand Proper Twelve, which he sold in April last year for around $150m. Its luxury interior also catches the eye, and he has secured the Number 12 edition of the yacht in another tribute to his business.

His latest purchase joins a whole host of opulent toys, which also includes a series of cars such as the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster and his Urus.

The 33-year-old was named as the richest athlete in the world earlier this year, having made a staggering £128million between May 1 of 2020 and the same date in 2021, which ousted football's leading stars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo by £35m and £43m respectively.

As a hugely recognised star in the fighting world, McGregor has fought - and lost - twice this year in the UFC and has already boasted of the financial reward. His defeat by Dustin Poirier in January attracted exactly 1,504,737 pay-per-view buys, which places it as the No.4 highest selling PPV of all time, falling just short of McGregor's UFC 202 rematch against Nate Diaz.

McGregor has yet to return to the octagon since his second consecutive loss to Poirier, but has now also made a return to sparring as he looks to step up his comeback. He is eyeing a switch to the 170lb division after showing off a new ripped physique after focusing on weight training during his recovery.

Kamaru Usman is currently in his sights for an immediate title shot upon his return, with the Nigerian planning to also make his own return in summer this year. UFC president Dana White has not yet plans for the Dubliner but is anticipating a return opponent will be needed at welterweight.
