Conor McGregor disagrees with Dana White’s timeline for UFC return: ‘December is the date’

Conor McGregor says he wants to fight in 2024 after all.

Minutes after UFC CEO Dana White said Tuesday that McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) won’t fight until at least 2025, the outspoken Irish superstar publicly expressed an alternative opinion on X.

“Ah Dana, December is the date!” McGregor wrote. “Bring the calendar year home with a winning event! Come on now, what’s this? I am off to altitude next month to prepare. DECEMBER! Tell Dana and UFC WE WANT DECEMBER! WE DESERVE DECEMBER!”
