Conor McGregor brings son along to training as he ramps up UFC comeback preparations

Conor McGregor brought his eldest son Conor Jnr along with him for his latest training session at Crumlin Boxing Club.

Jnr even laced up the gloves at one point and worked the speed ball.

In another pic, the four-year-old even had the vintage McGregor wide stance down as he posed for the camera.

The Notorious himself cut an oddly stylish figure for a training session as one follower joked 'I'm only working out in polo shirts from now on' after seeing the latest photos of him hitting the pads.

The former two-weight world champion captioned the post: "Right hook getting sparky at the school of excellence! Jnr watching and practicing!"

The 33-year-old followed that up with another training post from later in the evening.

In typical fashion he described his shots as being able to 'rattle your ancestors' as he worked out with the Stevie Wonder classic 'Master Blaster' blaring out throughout the gym.

We're still likely a while away from getting a comeback fight opponent and date confirmed but the likes of Dana White have hinted they are working towards a summer timeline of some description.

There won't be any shortage of takers anyway as despite his decline in performance, he remains the biggest draw and therefore most lucrative bout in the entire UFC.

Dustin Poirier hasn't ruled out a fourth fight with him while another old foe in Nate Diaz is consistently putting it out there that he'd be ready to bright the fight to him once more.

Wisely or not, McGregor has also talked up his chances of taking on and beating welterweight champ Kamaru Usman.

The dominant wrestler has laughed off the notion and even joked that it would lead to 'a murder scene' in the octagon.

McGregor, however, dared Usman to face him in one tetchy back-and-forth.

He initially wrote: "I’m gonna break a head with these (hands), add it to the list of heads".

Usman then mocked McGregor's SBG teammate Dillon Danis by replying: "Even [Dillon] Danis looks ok on pads lol".

In a now-deleted tweet, McGregor fired back: “Put your money where your mouth is then, oh wait," followed by a laughing emoji.

Usman made a reported $1million for his last fight, but the payday is still a lot less than the money McGregor has made during his UFC career.
