Conor Gallagher has admitted Chelsea's squad are "angry" after the Blues suffered a 1-0 defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers in Frank Lampard's first game back in charge of the club.
Whilst the departure of Graham Potter and return of Lampard had brought a sense of confidence and optimism that those around Stamford Bridge had long been starved of, Chelsea's showing at Molineux was one to join an underwhelmingly long list of this season's dismal displays.
Matheus Nunes scored the game's only goal in stunning fashion, while the visitors mustered just one shot on target despite the attacking qualities of Raheem Sterling, Joao Felix, Kai Havertz, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Christian Pulisic and Mykhailo Mudryk all featuring.
