TikTok user @sprucewoodboys is setting some ground rules for attending weddings that might not be everyone’s preference. Two days ago, Manny Stephen Acevedo shared on his TikTok account that he received an invitation to a wedding from someone he wasn’t very close with. Although he found it a bit unusual to be invited to this person’s wedding despite their distance, what truly made him decline was the fact that the wedding was supposed to be child-free, and Manny didn’t want to leave his kids behind to attend.
Manny refused the invitation to the wedding, but sent the person a gift as a gesture. However, as he highlights in his video, the unthinkable happened: the person who had invited him reached out asking for clarification on his absence, which then upset him, as he believed it was strange for the person to follow up after Manny had clearly stated he wouldn’t attend, especially considering they weren’t very close. After this, the conversation continued with the invitee asking Manny one question after another, eventually leading Manny to completely lose his temper.
