New Delhi: The Congress on Thursday announced the launch of a counrtywide protest "Mehengai Chaupal" against inflation.
The protest will be held at all mandis, retail markets and other places in all Vidhan Sabha constituencies from 17 to 23 August.

Earlier, on 5 August, Congress had made a massive protest against inflation. On that day many Congress leaders, including Party President Sonia Gandhi, General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi and former Party chief Rahul Gandhi, participated in the demonstration wearing black clothes.
