NEW DELHI: The Congress is laying added emphasis on building and carving out leaders from among the Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and the minority communities to strengthen the party.
Addressing a special ‘Leadership Development Mission’ (LDM) programme in the national capital on Wednesday, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said it was decided during the ‘Udaipur Chintan Shivir’ to launch a special programme for the leadership development among the SCs, STs, OBCs and minorities. He expressed happiness over the launch of the programme and appointment of LDM coordinators for all the assembly Constituencies and the Lok Sabha seats reserved for SCs and STs.
