Congressional Democrats are demanding records from the Trump administration about its reported involvement in the criminal cases of Andrew and Tristan Tate. The inquiry has also brought renewed attention to Andrew Tate's reported connection with Barron Trump, the US president's youngest son.

Representatives Jamie Raskin of Maryland and Yassamin Ansari of Arizona sent a four-page letter dated 20 October 2026 to Attorney General Todd Blanche and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. They are seeking information about communications involving US officials, Romanian authorities, British officials and the brothers' legal representatives.
