Frank Lampard has made two changes for the trip to Wolves with Conor Gallagher and Raheem Sterling starting. The Blues boss was present to watched Chelsea's draw to Liverpool and Tuesday and opted to change things up.
Lampard indictated in his press conference that he was likely to rely on what he knows and that has seen a return to a back four but Mason Mount is out of the squad altogether. The England international is suspected to have had a setback with the abdominal issue that has plagued him in recent weeks.
Kepa Arrizabalaga retains his place in goal with a back four made up of Reece James, Wesley Fofana, Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella with Ben Chilwell the figure to miss out from the game against Liverpool. Gallagher comes into the midield in the place of N'Golo Kante, who is also out of the squad, to join Enzo Fernandes and Mateo Kovacic.

Kai Havertz and Joao Felix keep their places too and are joined by Raheem Sterling. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also makes a return to the matchday squad having missed the last four under Graham Potter and Bruno Saltor.
