Concerns growing for Scots man missing overnight as cops launch frantic search

Concerns are growing for a man who has disappeared overnight from Renfrewshire.

Barry McEwan was last seen shortly after 5.30pm on Thursday, June 9 on St James Street, Paisley.

The 34-year-old has not been seen or heard from since, and officers are now appealing to the public for help in tracing him.

Barry is described as white British, 5 foot 5 inches tall, of slim build, with brown hair and blue eyes.

He also has facial hair.

He was wearing black jogging bottoms, blue t-shirt and white trainers when he vanished.

Anyone with any information on Barry's whereabouts is being urged to come forward.

Sergeant Jason Cooper from Paisley Police Office states "We have growing concerns for Barry and as time goes on we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

"Anyone who may have seen Barry or has any information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 3035 of 09/06/2022."
