Concerns grow for missing man, 51, believed to be in the County Durham area

Concerns are growing for a man who has been reported missing and is believed to be in the Darlington area.

Shortly before 11pm yesterday evening (Sunday, October 2) Durham Constabulary released a picture of 51-year-old Mark who has been reported missing, alongside a detailed description.

Mark was last seen in Hull, East Yorkshire and police have now launched an appeal after becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare, TeesideLive reported.

A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary spoke of their concerns and issued a description of the the missing man.

They said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of the 51-year-old, who went missing on Saturday morning.

"Mark was last seen in Hull, East Yorkshire, but he is now believed to be in the Darlington area.

They added: "He is described as medium build, with a shaven head and wearing glasses.

"He is believed to be wearing dark blue jeans and a blue jacket."

Anyone with any information is asked to call Durham Constabulary on 101, quoting incident reference number 232 of October 1.
