Concern growing for Scots woman who vanished from Wemyss Bay

A frantic search has been launched in an effort to trace a Scots woman who vanished yesterday.

Officers say Jaswinder Kaur was last seen around 4.10 pm on Tuesday, July 11 in the Lomond Road area in Wemyss Bay.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the 63-year-old is urged to contact police.

Police Scotland are 'growing increasingly concerned' for her welfare. Jaswinder was last seen wearing a beige suit and brown scarf.

Sergeant Kevin Carter said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Jaswinder and I would urge anyone with any information to get in touch with us.

“I would ask residents in the area of Lomond Road to check any private CCTV or door bell footage, you may have captured something that could assist our enquiries.

"I would also ask motorists to do the same and check dash-cam footage if you were in Wemyss Bay.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting 4131 Storm number and 11 July, 2023.
