A forgotten computer server sitting in a garage has turned out to contain a surprisingly valuable collection of RAM. A Reddit user recently posted photographs showing a large pile of DDR4 memory modules that had apparently been stored away after they were allowed to take an old workplace server home. The haul includes around 30 memory sticks, with several clearly identified as 64GB modules.
If the entire collection consists of 64GB sticks, the theoretical capacity would reach an eye-catching 1.92TB of RAM. The discovery has attracted plenty of attention online, particularly as memory prices have risen sharply in recent years.
