Come Dine With Me viewers hit out at ‘dogs dinner’ served on Channel 4 show

As Come Dine With Me returned to Channel 4 last night (February 7) for another series, the audience were excited to see the next batch of fine-dining hopefuls aiming for the £1,000 cash prize.

In the latest episode, the cameras were in Bristol as host Jane aimed to please with a festival rave theme, complete with drum and bass fun. However, viewers weren't exactly impressed with the most important part of the show - the cooking.

Come Dine With Me viewers flocked to social media to complain about the food choices Jane made, as well as fellow contestant's attitudes towards it.

One Twitter user wrote: "This is embarrassing… I can’t watch. come on channel 4 , please stop putting idiots and weirdos on who can’t cook #ComeDineWithMe."

Another said: "Looks like canteen food #comedinewithme."

And a third wrote: "I’ve made better looking lasagne than that and trust me it looked gross #comedinewithme."

While more commented: "hat looks a bit rough #comedinewithme."

Others said: "That cheesecake looks a right mess #comedinewithme."

One joked: "20 !! Lucky to get that tbh #comedinewithme."

Another added: "Mint choc cheesecake sounds absolutely repulsive #ComeDineWithMe."

And finally, one concluded: "That lasagne gives me the s****just looking at it #ComeDineWithMe."
