The Indianapolis Colts (7-6) and Pittsburgh Steelers (7-6) clash Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium in a matchup that has massive playoff implications in the AFC.
With the Steelers holding the No. 6 seed and the Colts right behind them at No. 7, they lead a group of six teams that entered Week 15 with 7-6 records.
According to Pro Football Focus, the Colts have a 46% chance to make the playoffs entering Week 15. If they defeat the Steelers, their chances to make the postseason rise to 66%. Should they lose this home game Saturday, their chances plummet to 20%.
That 46% swing is the largest among all teams around the wild-card bubble.
For the Steelers, Pro Football Focus is giving them a 31% chance to make the playoffs. If they pull off the road upset, their chances to make the postseason rise to 56%. However, a loss sinks them to just a 12% chance.
This matchup also is the only one during the Week 15 slate of games that features two AFC wild-card bubble teams facing off. The Cincinnati Bengals (7-6), Denver Broncos (7-6) and Buffalo Bills (7-6) have games against NFC opponents. Meanwhile, the Houston Texans (7-6) have a matchup against the Tennessee Titans (5-8) without C.J. Stroud.
This is a huge matchup for both teams and the result of the game will have massive playoff implications.
