Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. provided an update on social media shortly after his team defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers, 30-13, on Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Pittman Jr. exited the game during the second quarter after taking a scary hit from Steelers safety Damontae Kazee, who was ejected immediately because of it. On a deep crosser, Pittman Jr. laid out for a ball thrown by Gardner Minshew. Kazee came in hot, pummeling the Colts’ leading receiver, who was completely defenseless.
Fortunately, Pittman Jr. was able to walk off the field under his own power, and he seemed pretty alert for someone who had just taken a massive hit. He was quickly ruled out with a concussion after going to the locker room, but he tweeted an encouraging update after the win.
I’m all good😁

Before the injury, Pittman Jr. was able to grab four receptions for 78 yards. That put him over the 1,000-yard mark for the season, which is the second time he’s done so in his career.
Pittman Jr. is very likely to be in the concussion protocol going into Week 16 so his status is to be determined as the Colts begin preparing for the road game against the Atlanta Falcons.
