Amid a contract dispute, the Colts have granted running back Jonathan Taylor permission to seek a trade, per a report by ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Monday.
The ongoing rift between the standout back and the club has been well documented in regards to a potential extension to his rookie contract.
Taylor, who reportedly requested a trade following a meeting with owner Jim Irsay last month, can solicit offers from other teams and bring them to the Colts.

Taylor, who led the NFL in rushing in 2021, has made it clear he is not willing to play out the final year of his rookie contract without a new deal.
The former two-time Doak Walker Award winner has been sitting out of practicing with his teammates amid disputed reports of back and ankle injuries.
