Fresh off his recent Oscar nomination, Colman Domingo has announced his involvement in the highly anticipated Michael Jackson biopic, 'Michael.' The acclaimed actor will be portraying the role of Joe Jackson, the domineering father of the late pop star.
Lionsgate, the film's production company, confirmed on Thursday that Domingo has joined the cast of Antoine Fuqua's film, which is currently in the midst of production. Domingo's performance in the film 'Rustin' earned him a nomination for Best Actor at the upcoming Academy Awards. In 'Rustin,' he portrays civil rights activist Bayard Rustin.
