If you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We are diving into our favorite picks against the spread for this week, but if you are looking for more information or to place a bet check out Tipico Sportsbook.
We are doing okay with a nice record of 15-10 after finishing last week at 3-3. The Iowa Hawkeyes were once again terrible on offense and the Texas A&M Aggies underachieved out of the gate once more. But thank goodness the Penn State Nittany Lions were out for blood and the USC Trojans can’t be stopped. We bet on two games on Friday, but as of writing, they are not complete. Let’s hope for Florida State, and Air Force and let’s dive into Saturday.
Oklahoma -11.5 Nebraska
This is more a bet against the ‘Huskers than on the Sooners. To recap the already disappointing Nebraska season, it lost to Northwestern despite being favored by 12.5-points and to Georgia Southern despite being favored by 23.5-points. Then the Cornhuskers fired Scott Frost. Say no more and lay the points with Oklahoma.
BYU+3.5 Oregon
The Cougars are going into a hostile Autzen Stadium after an emotional overtime win over Baylor, 26-20, but the Oregon Ducks are overrated. They were embarrassed by Georgia, 49-3, and I don’t put much weight into their win against Eastern Washington as they are an FCS team. I’m taking the dog in the more talented BYU team.
California at Notre Dame (-11.5)
This spread went up a tad bit as I snagged it at -10.5 earlier in the week, but that extra point doesn’t scare me. The Fighting Irish are starved for their first win of the season but proved against Ohio State that they can play well. On the other hand, the Bears are 2-0 but looked rough last week against UNLV. I’m comfortable laying the points with Notre Dame.
Texas Tech at NC State (-10.5)
The Red Raiders are playing a backup quarterback and are coming off an emotional overtime win over a talented Houston team, 33-30. The Wolfpack are coming off an easy win over Charleston Southern, 55-3, and they should be refreshed and ready to take on Texas Tech. I’m laying the points with NC State.
