The Australian government needs to lead a "breakout solution" to resolve the "endless circuitry" oppressing "foremost international prisoner of conscience" Julian Assange, prominent lawyer Bernard Collaery has said.
Mr Collaery, speaking outside the British High Commission in Canberra on Saturday as part of an international day of action for Mr Assange, said he challenged the government to continue the "roll on" of mercy afforded to him.
