Coleraine will not be taking Dungannon Swifts lightly insists Oran Kearney

Oran Kearney will not be reading too much into Dunagnnon Swifts' 6-0 thumping at Glentoran in midweek when he takes his Coleraine side to Stangmore Park on Saturday afternoon.

Dean Shiels' men had been in a decent run of form of late as they opened up a sizeable gap over basement side Portadown and Kearney is wary of a Swifts side still smarting from their Oval demolition.

"We will be expecting a reaction from Dungannon and it's tough every time we go there," he said.

"In particular, they've got a really good home record at this moment in time and have picked up a few notable results over the last few weeks."

Kearney has a fitness doubt over forward Conor McKendry, who was forced off in Tuesday night's 1-0 win over Carrick Rangers.

"We aren't sure about Conor's injury and we're hoping it's not too serious at this point in time but we will have to wait and see," he said.

"Those players potentially being out gives opportunity to others.

"We have players there who are kicking their heels and can't wait to get back playing, so it's up to those guys to step up to the mark now."
