Coleen Rooney and the remaining I’m A Celebrity contestants were surprised by family members during an emotional family reunion.
The episode, which will air on Friday night (December 6), will see Rooney, 38, who is married to footballer Wayne Rooney, break down in tears when her youngest sons, Kit, eight, and Cass, five, join her in the Jungle alongside her parents, Colette and Anthony.
Danny Jones missed out on seeing his loved ones during the episode as his wife, Georgia Horsley, and their six-year-old son, Cooper, arrived in Australia too late to visit. Jones’s mother, however, made it to the camp to surprise the McFly singer.
Former Strictly star Oti Mabuse’s husband Marius, their 13-month-old daughter, and her mother, Dudu, travelled Down Under to lend their support.
Meanwhile, TikTok star GK Barry, whose real name is Grace Keeling, was visited by her mother and girlfriend Ella Rutherford, who surprised her on the Gold Coast.
Reverend Richard Coles, 62, welcomed his brother Andy to the Jungle, describing him as “the kindest person in the world.” Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall’s brother,
Steven, and best friend Gareth also travelled to Australia. Speaking to MailOnline, the pair joked that they wanted Halsall, 42, out of the show so they could play golf with him.
The reunions followed Thursday night’s dramatic double eviction, which saw Maura Higgins and Barry McGuigan sent home just days before the final.
The departure came after a twist in which contestants competed for immunity and a guaranteed spot in the upcoming Cyclone trial.
In Wednesday’s trial, winners Higgins, Mabuse, Rooney, and Jones faced off at the Arcade of Agony for the chance to win immunity.
Mabuse emerged victorious, completing a Tetris-style challenge in the quickest time and earning the golden ticket.
The immunity twist, however, has divided fans, with many taking to Twitter to voice frustrations over the change in voting dynamics.
One fan wrote: “Anyone else feeling like the golden ticket to Cyclone has taken something away from us as the viewers? One of the biggest parts of this show is us voting to see our faves in this iconic trial.”
Another added: “This feels like a fix. I reckon Oti was low in the voting and she somehow had a ‘technique’ that helped her win.”
Others defended the twist and praised Mabuse for her win. “I am so glad Oti won the golden ticket. She really deserves that,” one viewer wrote.
The remaining campmates will now prepare for the iconic Cyclone challenge.
