Coleen Nolan's 'eyes watered' as she was asked to castrate llama on Loose Women

Coleen Nolan's eyes were "watering" as she helped out on a farm.

The Loose Women presenter said she had always wanted to try her hand at being a vet, including helping with farm animals such as pigs, horses, cows and llamas. The ITV daytime show made her wishes come true as they sent her off to help a local farmer, fully equipped with a flat cap and wellies.

While there, the farmer explained that they had two alpacas and two llamas that needed to be castrated - and Coleen was getting roped in to help.

She said to one of the animals: "Spit at him!" as the farmer explained: "We are going to be taking away your testicles." The TV presenter explained what was happening as they secured the llama and then numbed his "area" so that he wouldn't feel anything.

Coleen sounded terrified as she said: "And now, it was time to get my hands dirty." Her job was to keep the llama's tail out of the way.

She said: "Oh this is absolutely gross" as she looked away from the farmer handling the llama's privates. Coleen added: "Oh it's making my eyes water. It's like a really veiny boiled egg."

But her journey of trying out a job on the farm wasn't over yet as she helped the farmer decide whether or not a cow was pregnant. He did this by putting his hand up its backside, at which Coleen pleaded: "Oh no, I'm not doing that."

Later, she actually managed to get her hands dirty once and for all as she helped to deliver a baby calf. The famer explained that without intervention the baby cow could have died.
