CHENNAI: Charging the Tamil Nadu police with sitting on a "very specific alert" from the Union ministry of home affairs about a terror plot for four days before issuing an alert to the district police officers on October 21 evening, BJP state president K Annamalai on Saturday said chief minister M K Stalin, who holds the home portfolio, must answer as to why no action was taken despite getting an alert on October 18.
"If we release the documents, it would be explosive," he said, warning of several officers losing their jobs.
