Coffee's Parabolic Rally Pushes Arabica Prices to a 47-Year High

March arabica coffee (KCH25) today is up +14.00 (+4.53%), and January ICE robusta coffee (RMF25) is up +330 (+6.38%).

Coffee prices today extended their 3-week parabolic rally, with March arabica posting a contract high and December arabica posting a 47-year nearest-futures high.  Meanwhile, January robusta coffee posted a 1-3/4 month high.  Coffee prices are soaring as adverse weather in Brazil and Vietnam, the world's two biggest coffee growers, threatens global coffee production.
