Coffee Prices Retreat on Forecasts for Increased Brazil Coffee Production

May arabica coffee (KCK24) on Thursday closed down -4.95 (-2.63%), and Mar ICE robusta coffee (RMH24) closed down -78 (-2.40%).

Coffee prices on Thursday retreated, with arabica posting a 1-week low and robusta falling to a 4-week low.  Coffee prices came under pressure after researcher StoneX projected Brazil's 2024/25 coffee production would increase by +4.2% y/y to 67 million bags.
